Visit of the delegation of the Bundestag
The heads of two committees of the German Bundestag - Economic Cooperation - Dagmar Vohrl, and of Economy and Industry - Peter Ramsauer are on a visit to Azerbaijan.
As stated in the German embassy in Baku, the parliamentarians learn prospects for bilateral cooperation in the energy sector of Azerbaijan, the activities of German companies, as well as the development of relations in the field of education.
They will also participate in the opening of the first stage of the installation of water supply in the city of Ganja, construction of which is financed by the German bank KfW.
In addition, the Bundestag will get acquainted with the former German settlements in the Goygol region and industrial potential of Sumgait.
The program of the visit includes meetings with representatives of the Government and the Parliament of Azerbaijan. They will also visit the center of German culture Kapelhaus and the German Language Center.
The visit began with a meeting on the morning of September 17 between Ms. Vohrl and high school students at Baku Slavic University, studying German. -06D--

On December 23, a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Serbia took place in Belgrade. During the final press conference, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric reported that the discussions focused on the development of tourism. "We are strengthening efforts to open direct air routes, as well as economic development and energy," said Djuric. The minister expressed confidence that cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan would become even closer and more intensive in the near future.
