What is happening with the Baku traffic police?
Baku/13.01.20 / Turan: Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov ordered the entire staff to the Baku Traffic Police, a number of media reported on January 13 without any explanation.
Earlier, on January 7, due to retirement, the head of the metropolitan traffic police Nushiravan Safarov was dismissed.
The head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ehsan Zahidov, commenting on these reports, told Turan that changes were made to the leadership of the Baku traffic police.
“Some of them have been retired in the management team, some new appointments have also been made,” Zahidov said. At the same time, he did not say anything about the reasons for such an unusual step.

On November 19, the Sabail District Court of Baku granted the prosecution's request to extend the pretrial detention of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov for another four months, his lawyer, Rovshan Rahimov reported.
