Artak Davtyan
Will there be Russian peacekeepers between Kalbajar and Gegharkunik?
Baku/22.06.21/Turan: “Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the Gegharkunik region; the processes are underway, and we will inform you when the final decision is made," chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan told reporters on June 22.
He noted that talks were held with the Russian side and the participation of Azerbaijan. "Talks are underway with the Russian side because there are issues to be solved. Our task is to withdraw Azerbaijani units from our territory, without clashes," Davtyan said.
Asked about some possible concessions, Davtyan said that there would be no concessions, and if the issue of the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces remained unresolved through talks, the issue would be settled through "appropriate actions".
Note that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry says nothing about the talks on this section of the border.-02D-

He criticised his predecessor Nursultan Nazarbayev and actually accused him of provoking mass riots in the country in January 2020.

The disruption, marking the end of a decade-long transit route, is expected to heighten competition in the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) market and drive up prices for alternative energy sources.
