Zelensky is grateful to Azerbaijan for the supply of energy equipment
Baku/19.07.23/Turan: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the leadership of Azerbaijan for providing humanitarian assistance in the form of supplies of electrical equipment. “I welcome the decision to provide assistance for the purchase of power equipment for the needs of Ukraine. This support of friendly Azerbaijan is important for ensuring the stability of the energy complex of Ukraine in the face of constant attacks by the aggressor. We continue to actively work with our partners to prepare the energy system for winter,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.
On July 17, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to allocate $7.6 million for the purchase and supply of electrical equipment to Ukraine.—06B-

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
