114 new cases of COVID-19 infection
Baku/15.09.20/Turan: 114 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Tuesday.
At the same time, over the past 24 hours, 138 patients have recovered, two people died.
The total number of infected people reached 38,517, 35,998 were cured, 566 died, 1,953 active patients are continuing treatment; 1,020,029 tests were carried out, including 6,921 for the last day. –06D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
