Baku/16.12.22/Turan: During a joint operation of the Interior Ministry and State Border Service, 9 kg of drugs and 3,800 pills of psychotropic substances were withdrawn from illegal turnover. That was said in the joint report of the Interior Ministry and State Border Service on December 16.
Thus, Rabil Azimzadeh, a resident of Sabirabad, was detained in the Salyan region, and 28 grams of heroin was seized from him. During an inspection of his car, over 3kg of marijuana, over 3kg of opium, 2kg of heroin and 3,800 methadone tablets were found.
According to another press release from the Interior Ministry, about 4 kg of drugs were found in a minibus carrying passengers from Aghstafa to Baku. Drug couriers Shahin and Niyameddin Nagiyev from Baku were detained and handed over to the investigation.
