137 kg of heroin seized on the border with Iran
Baku/03.12.21/Turan: Azerbaijani customs officers found more than 137 kg of heroin in an Iranian truck that followed to Kazakhstan through Azerbaijan.This happened at the Astara customs post on the border with Iran, the press service of the State Customs Committee reported on December 3.
During the X-ray inspection, it was found that there are hidden objects under the cabin bottom. When the bottom was opened, 171 parcels of heroin were found there.
During the interrogation, the driver admitted that in Iran he was paid to smuggle drugs. The message does not say who ordered the delivery of the heroin. According to the State Customs Committee, the cost of this batch on the black market is 16 million / manat (about 10 million dollars). -02D-
