Participants of the action in honor of the International Day of Workers held on May 1 were detained in the center of Baku, and brought to trial. Sabail Court considered the case of youth activists of leftist organizations, and subjected them to administrative arrest for holding an unsanctioned rally.
Thus, Akshin Mustafayev, Thale Rzakhanov were arrested for 15 days in jail, Sanan Gulahmedov – to 10 days, and Umid Alyshov – to 180 hours of community service.
The action took place on Nizami street. In this case, the police used violence against the participants and journalists covering the event. Total of five action participants of the action and video operator of «Obyektiv.tv» were detained. -16D-
