1,617 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/11.27.21/Turan: Azerbaijan has registered 1,617 new cases of coronavirus infection, 1,979 patients have recovered.
As reported in the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 22 people died from coronavirus in a day.
To date, 584,121 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 549,333 people have been cured, 7,789 have died, and 26,999 are actively sick.
Over the past day, 11,982 tests were carried out in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection.
Also, over the past day, 33 190 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3 831, with the second - 5 805 people, with a booster dose 23 554 people were vaccinated.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 10,460,120, of which 5,071,264 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,555,457 people received two doses, and 833,399 people received a booster dose.-0-

In a bid to modernize and regulate the taxi industry in Baku, mobile patrols of the state traffic police have launched a series of raids aimed at ensuring that taxi drivers comply with newly established requirements.
