2,036 new cases of COVID-19 infection
Baku/24.10.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,036 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1,045 patients have recovered, 25 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 24.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 516,325 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 484,604 people have recovered, 6,894 have died, treatment of 24,827 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 12,325 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 29,559 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 17,011, with the second - 12,548.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 9,383,303.
The first dose of the vaccine was received by 5,060,158, two doses - by 4,323,145 people. — 06D-
