2,112 new cases of COVID-19 infection
Baku/22.10.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,112 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, 882 people have recovered, and 18 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 22.
The total number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic was 511 974, including 482 578 recovered, 6 847 died, treatment of 22 549 active patients continues. Over the past day, 12,568 coronavirus tests have been made.
Also, 30,886 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered per day. During the day, 16,774 people were vaccinated with the first dose, and 14,112 people were vaccinated with the second.
The total number of vaccines used was 9 320 558, including 5 024 500 people received the first dose, 4 296 058 - two doses. — 06D-
