2,254 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/09.09.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 2,254 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified, 3,655 people have recovered, 35 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 9.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 452,536, of which 397,224 have recovered, 5,994 have died, and 49,318 active patients are undergoing treatment.
Over the past day, 14,753 tests for coronavirus have been carried out.
Also, 59,268 doses of vaccines were administered per day.
The first dose was used to vaccinate 24 270 people, the second - 34 998.
The total number of vaccines used was 7,430,450.
