Baku/26.10.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 2,266 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, 1,194 patients have recovered, 24 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said.
In total, 520,068 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, including 486,426 people recovered, 6,939 died, treatment of 26,703 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 13,552 tests were carried out in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection. Also, over the past day, 41,233 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 26 348, the second - 14 885 people. The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 9 424 902. Within the first stage of vaccination, 5 086 757 people were vaccinated, the second stage - 4 338 145 people. --06В-
