Baki/07.12.20/Turan: For the las day Azerbaijan has detected 3,086 new COVID-19 cases, 1,781 patients have recovered and 43 patients have died, said Operational Headquarters under Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
Up to now 149,765 person have been infected with coronavirus, 90278 recovered, 1675 died. Currently 57812 people are under treatment. 10190 tests have been carried for the past day. -0-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
