3500 infected, 27 - deaths from COVID-19 per day
Baku/21.08.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 3,551 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected, 1,196 patients have recovered, 27 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 21.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Azerbaijan, 388 437 people have been infected with coronavirus infection, including 344 603 recovered, 5 279 have died, treatment of 38 555 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 18,982 coronavirus tests were carried out in the country.
Also, over the past day, 64,714 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 50,291, with the second - 14,423 people.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan was 6 110 185, of which 3 667 494 were vaccinated with the first dose, 2 442 691 - with two doses.
