Baku/27.07.20/Turan: 396 new cases of coronavirus infection were revealed in Azerbaijan per day. At the same time, 558 people recovered and 6 people died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Monday.
The total number of infected people in the country exceeded 30 thousand people, amounting to 30 446 facts. During the period of the pandemic, 23,242 people were cured, and the number of deaths was 423 people.
Today, 6,781 people continue to be treated in hospitals. 6,838 tests were conducted per day, and 690,386 since the start of the pandemic.-02D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
