4 killed in fire at Park Qusar Recreation Center
Baku/22.01.23/Turan: Four people died, six more were injured in a fire in a two-story cottage in the Park Qusar recreation center in the Gusar region of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by leaving a wood-burning stove (fireplace) in the cottage unattended.
The Gusar district prosecutor's office is investigating.
This department released information about the identity of the dead and injured.
Emin Babaev (born 1969), Zulfiya Babaeva (born 1981), Rauf Babayev (born 2005) - members of the same family, and Rustam Dadashev (born 1973) died in the fire.
Larisa Repina (born 1952), Olga Dadasheva (born 1950), Natalya Dadasheva (born 1978), Denis Repin (born 1980), Emil Dadasheva (born 2009) suffered , Kamilla Dadasheva (born in 2016). The victims were hospitalized in the Gusar Central District Hospital.
Five people were later sent to the burn unit of the Narimanov Medical Center in Baku, the Association for the Management of Territorial Medical Units (TƏBIB) said.
The condition of two is assessed as serious, three - as moderate.
