4010 cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/29.08.21/Turan: 4010 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan over the past day. Note that 2,898 persons recovered, 41 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reported on August 29.
It should be noted that the total number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic has been 417,996, including 361,128 recovered, 5,553 died, and the treatment of 51,315 active patients continues.
Over the past 24 hours, 16,536 tests for coronavirus were conducted.
Also, 92,948 people were vaccinated against coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past day.
It should be remembered that the number of people who received the first dose of the vaccine was 52,922, and the second dose was 40,026.
The total number of vaccines used was 6,687,806.
