553 new COVID-19 infections
Baku/05.01.22/Turan: Over the past day, 553 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, 736 patients have recovered, 11 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on January 5.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 618,918 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, of which 603,055 people have recovered, 8409 have died, and 7454 active patients are continuing treatment.
Also, over the past day, 27,417 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. 2,511 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 3,453 people were vaccinated with the second, and 21,453 people were vaccinated with the booster dose.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,373,965, of which the first dose was received by 5,171,942, the second dose - 4,680,213, and the booster dose - 1,521,810 people. — 05D06-
