60 people involved in drug trafficking detained in Sabunchu district
Baku/14.07.22/Turan: Over the past month, employees of the Sabunchu district police department have detained about 60 people involved in drug trafficking and cultivation, the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Operations were carried out in the settlements of Bakikhanov, Balakhani, Mashtaga, Zabrat and others. So, i 15,367 hemp bushes with a total weight of 3 tons 500 kg were found in the yard of Firuddin Babayev, a resident of Mashtaga settlement.
In the course of other operations in the same village, 6 more people involved in the cultivation of hemp were arrested, from whom 17,000 bushes with a total weight of 500 kilograms were confiscated.
In total, during operations in the area, 5 kilograms of drugs were found, including heroin, marijuana, opium and methamphetamine. A lawsuit has been filed on the matter. --05D---
