67 people dead and 296 injured by natural and man-made hazards in 2022
Baku/31.01.23/Turan: The Ministry of Emergency Situations published statistical data on natural and man-made disasters in Azerbaijan in 2022.
Total 16,714 of such events took place, which is up by 1,467 cases (10%) from 2021. As a result, 67 people died and 296 were injured.
In 2022, there were 2,095 fires, which killed 51 people and injured 219. The number of fatalities was 13 persons (34%) higher than in 2021. The number of injured is 74 persons ( 70%) more than last year.
In addition, 75 explosions occurred in the country during 2022, which is 2 facts (3%) less than in 2021. There were 15 deaths, 77 injuries and 6 rescues in the bombings. -05D-
