671 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected in Azerbaijan over the past day
Baku/01.08.21/Turan: Over the past day, 671 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 202 people have recovered, four have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 1.
In total, 344,520 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the pandemic, including 333,128 people recovered, 5,027 died, treatment of 6,365 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 9,400 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, over the past 24 hours, 68,416 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in Azerbaijan. At the same time, the number of those who received the first dose of the vaccine was 43 346, the second dose - 25 070 people.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan is 5,040,778, including 2,923,477 who received the first dose of the vaccine, both doses - 2,117,301 people. — 06B-
