Baku/04.07.23/Turan: 683 people applied to Baku city clinical medical center with complaints of poisoning in June, head of toxicology department Azer Mahsudov said.
At that, 105 patients were admitted to the toxicology department, others released home after medical treatment.
37 people admitted to inpatient treatment were poisoned with medicines, 24 with essence, and 3 with carbon monoxide.
Aside from this, 10 people were poisoned from ethanol, 5 from anaphylaxis, 6 from allergic reactions, 1 from botulism, 17 from snake bites and 2 from bee stings.
Other patients were treated from botulism, snake and bee stings, allergic reactions, etc.
Of those poisoned, 51 were women, 43 men and 11 children.
3 patients poisoned from essence, 2 from ethanol, 1 from medication and 1 from anaphylactic shock died in the hospital.
Of those who died, 5 were male and 2 female. -06В-
