706 people died in traffic accidents in Azerbaijan in 2021
Baku/19.01.22/Turan: Last year, 706 people died in 1,649 traffic accidents in Azerbaijan, and another 1,452 were injured, the Department of traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Wednesday. Compared to 2020, the number of road accidents increased by 62 cases (+3.9%), the number of deaths - by 10 people (+1.4%), injured - by 42 (+3%).
514 accidents occurred in the capital, where 211 people died and 413 were injured. 1597 accidents occurred due to the fault of drivers. -05D-
