A monument to national hero Albert Agarunov erected in Baku
Baku/03.09.19/Turan: A monument to the National Hero of Azerbaijan Albert Agarunov was erected in Baku.
The Baku City Executive Power told Turan that a monument with the goal of perpetuating the memory of Agarunov will be erected on the street bearing his name in the Narimanov district of the capital.
Currently, work is underway to improve the area around the monument.
Albert Agarunov was born on April 25, 1969 in the village of Amirjan near Baku.
In 1992, he voluntarily went to the Karabakh war.
As a commander of a tank crew, he fought on the Shusha Front, participated in battles in the Khankendi, Dashalt and Jamilli directions.
Agarunov died in battle for the defense of Shusha on May 8, 1992, inflicting serious damage to the enemy in manpower and equipment. -06D--
