A Pakistani citizen committed a murder in Masazir and was arrested
Baku/31.10.23/Turan: A tragic incident unfolded on the evening of October 30 in the Absheron District of Azerbaijan, resulting in one fatality and another individual sustaining cutting and piercing injuries. The Absheron District Prosecutor's Office received the distressing report, as detailed in a statement released by the Prosecutor General's Office on October 31.
Preliminary investigations have revealed grave suspicions that Pakistani national Asad Shabbir Ahmad was responsible for causing multiple injuries to one compatriot and tragically taking the life of another. The incident occurred within one of the apartments situated in the Masazir village of Absheron district.
In response to this grievous incident, the Absheron District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case under Articles 120.1 (intentional murder) and 29, 120.2.7 (deliberate murder of two persons) of the Criminal Code. Asad Shabbir Ahmad, the prime suspect in this distressing matter, has been taken into custody.
