A police officer died saving a drowning man
Baku/03.09.21/Turan: A police officer died trying to save a drowning man. The tragedy occurred on September 2 at about 18.00 on the Mayak beach, the Khazar district of the capital.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a police officer of the Regiment of Fast Response, 21-year-old Ibrahim Ali Osmanov, saw a man drowning in the sea and rushed to save him. However, the depth and high waves prevented him from saving the man.
The police officer died together with 45-year-old Rovshan Gasymov whom he tried to save.—06D-
