A shepherd injured after being blown up by a mine in Lachin
Baku/12.04.23/Turan: On April 12, Ramil Azizov, born in 2001, was blown up by an antipersonnel mine while grazing cattle near the village of Sus in the Lachin region. He suffered leg injuries and was taken to the nearest hospital, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The village of Sus, together with the city of Lachin and the v illage of Zubakh, were returned to the control of the Azerbaijani Army in August 2022.
Taking into account today's incident, the number of Azerbaijani citizens injured by mines after the end of the 44-day war in 2020 has reached 290; 51 of them died and 239 were injured. ---21D---

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
