Baku / 05/19/19 / Turan: The public activist Rustam Ismailbeyli was summoned to the 35th police station of the Khatai district on Saturday.
He told Turan that at first his relatives residing at the address where he was registered were brought to the police station. They were told that until Ismailbeyli came to the police, they would not be released. Upon learning of this, the activist immediately arrived at the police.
'In the department before me they laid out screenshots of my statuses on social networks and started asking "Why do you write such things?", "Why are you dissatisfied with the state?" So they asked about our planned student assembly,' said Ismailbeyli.
Two hours later, he was released.
'At first they said "you are going under daily arrest," and then they took my phone away from me, removed the statuses and let me go,' said the young man.
It was not possible to get comments at the 35th police station and the MIA.
Ibrahimbeyli is a student of the Oriental Faculty of Baku State University. In January of this year, for participating in a campaign to support the blogger Mehman Huseynov, he was pressured by the Dean's office. The university said the young man was reprimanded for "no respect for the teacher." -21B06-

Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
