Air communication between Azerbaijan and Russia suspended
Baku/05.03.22/Turan: From March 6, flights of Russian airlines to Azerbaijan are canceled for an indefinite period, the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsiya) reports.
This is due to international sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union against the Russian Federation and Western-made aircraft operated by it.
These restrictions also affected the national air carrier of Azerbaijan - AZAL, and the low-cost airline Buta, which also suspend all flights to Russia from 8:00 on March 6.
Passengers of canceled flights can change the date of departure or receive money back, AZAL reports. -02D-
