Almost 2,400 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/11.08.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,396 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan; 674 people recovered, and 11 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 11.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 357,058, of which 336,445 have recovered, 5,095 have died, and 15518 active patients are undergoing treatment.
Over the past day, 13,792 tests were carried out to detect coronavirus.
65269 people were vaccinated per day, including 43380 - with the first dose, 21889 - with the second dose.
The total number of vaccines made was 5,543,311 doses.
At the same time, 3 243 487 people were vaccinated with the first dose, and 2 299 824 - with both doses. –06D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
