Baku / 02.11.18 / Turan: On October 31, employees of the Azerbaijani Border Service detained a citizen Nizami Bayramov, who was wanted on charges of embezzlement and misappropriation.
According to the criminal case initiated by the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General"s Office, Bayramov is the head of Azer Caspian Iran Co. operating in Iran. This company was established by the company Amay LLC, the State Border Service said.
According to the same source, Bayramov was detained when he tried to move to Azerbaijan from Iran through the territory of the Yardimli region.
During the search, 20 grams of opium, $ 150 and 100 manat, as well as a mobile phone were found on him. Bayramov was charged with illegal border crossing and illegal drug possession.
However, Amay has denied any relation of Nizami Bayramov to the company. -05D-
