An article on the responsibility for assignment of budget funds is introduced to the Criminal Code
On Friday the Milli Majlis introduced a new Article to the Criminal Code on liability for misuse of funds of the state budget. Thus, the Article 308-1 is called "The use of the state budget, target budget funds and extra-budgetary state funds for other purposes."
If as a result of these actions is caused substantial damage (from 50,000 to 250,000 manat), there will a fine from eight thousand to 10,000 manats from the ban for three years to occupy certain positions, or up to 3 years in prison
If there is a large size damage (more than 250,000 manat), it is punishable by imprisonment from three to six years.—06D--

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
