Another child injured in road accident in Imishli region died
One more child, who was injured in a road accident in Imishli region on 18 January, died in Baku hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, the life of the minor born in 2015 could not be saved.
On 22 January at 01.45 doctors stated the child's death, Turan was informed by TƏBİB (Territorial Medical Units Management Association).
According to the same source, the victim was diagnosed with fractures of the right shoulder, skull and pneumothorax of the lung.
Due to brain haemorrhage, a neurosurgical operation was performed and the child was placed in the intensive care unit and connected to an artificial respiration machine.
It must be recalled that two schoolchildren died in the accident, and two more children and the driver of the traffic police car were hospitalised.
Earlier, the Prosecutor-General's Office said that a young man who stole a Mercedes-Benz car and provoked an accident with a police car had been detained in the accident case.
