Arrest of Political Emigrant's Brother Reported
Baku / 12.09.17 / Turan: Ramin Abdullayev, the brother of Parviz Abdullayev, who is a political emigrant in Germany, has been arrested for 25 days in administrative order.
As the relatives of the arrested reported, R. Abdullayev was summoned to the Mingachevir district police department several times and eventually sentenced to 25 days of administrative arrest. It is unclear what administrative violation R. Abdullayev is accused of.
It has not been possible to obtain information in the Mingachevir district police department.
It should be noted that P. Abdullayev was one of the organizers of the protest action in defense of Azerbaijani political prisoners in the German city of Duisburg on September 2. -06D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
