After that, the prosecutor's office appealed to the Ministry of Communications to block the sites "Bastainfo.com", "criminalaz.com", "topxeber.az" and "fia.az". Mamedov was charged under the Criminal Code: 281.2 (appeals against the state), 309.2 (abuse of office) and 313 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code, which he rejects.
As a witness on February 19, a former employee of the Main Police Department of the city of Ganja, Gulnar Muradova, was questioned at the trial. She confirmed that she gave the journalist information about the events in Ganja. Moreover, the witness noted that she had read publications on the website criminal.az and they did not cause her fear. She also clarified the publications on the site about the former head of the Ganja police, the late Rasim Musayev. Muradova confirmed that she had told Mamedov about about the incident between Musayev and the former head of Ganja, Elmar Veliyev. Muradova noted that at the event where the fight took place, there were only city leaders.
However, on the Alley of Martyrs to events in connection with the Khojaly genocide there were also outsiders. "There came a woman who appealed to the mayor and asked for help. But T the mayor ordered to detaien her. Rasim Musaev replied that it was not appropriate to arrest a shahid mother. Because of this, a dispute arose ..., "said Muradova.
Muradova also confirmed that she spoke with Mamedov about the events in Ganja on July 3 and 10. The editor asked the policeman who was guarding the head of Ganja died. To which she replied that he was in the hospital. Next, the head of the Department of Legal Security of State Security of the Institute of Human Rights of the Academy of Sciences, Bakhtiyar Aliyev, gave an opinion on publications on criminal.az
He said: "As a result of the geopolitical processes in the region, military, political, economic confrontation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, foreign special services continue their subversive activities in Azerbaijan. Persons from the marginal social stratum and realist radicals spread propaganda and extremist ideas against the Azerbaijani state, sow the seeds of hatred for the government and society. From the materials presented during the investigation it is clear that this may be an integral part of the information war of Armenia against Azerbaijan." Lawyer Elchin Sadigov asked the expert why he gave the same conclusions for various publications on criminal.az, bastainfo.com and teref.info.
"In all three conclusions you wrote the same sentences, and even the same commas. What did cause this? While the publications are completely different, the text of your analysis remains unchanged.
In response, the expert said that the conclusion could be repeated in 20 articles. The next court trial is scheduled for March 12. .-03B06-
