Baku/13.03.21/Turan: A number of local media outlets reported on the detention of the scandalous famous Ata Abdullayev, who poses as a video blogger. It is reported that he was engaged in racketeering, blackmailing officials and was detained red-handed while receiving money through extortion.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not refute and did not confirm the reports of the detention of Abdullayev. “We do not have such information,” said the representative of the department.
Abdullayev is known for provocations against opposition leaders and activists, as well as for shameless behavior towards former dignitaries.
The last time he behaved in this way towards the former head of the presidential administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev on March 5 after the congress of the ruling party, when the latter was answering journalists' questions.
