Baku/07.12.22/Turan: On the evening of December 4, Border Service officers stopped an attempt to smuggle a large batch of drugs from Iran.
According to the State Border Service, a Ford Transit car was detained on the territory of the Pensar village of the Astara district bordering Iran. During his examination, three bundles were found containing more than 19 kg of heroin, 11 kg of hashish, 4.5 kg of marijuana, 4 kg of opium, about 3 kg of methamphetamine and more than 4 thousand methadone tablets-40. The driver of the car Mammadov Guloglan was detained. An investigation is underway. -0-
