AZAL explained the situation with airfare for flights Baku-Istanbul-Baku
Baku / 27.06.20 / Turan: AZAL has denied reports of setting excessive prices for Baku-Istanbul-Baku flights, the sale of tickets for which began on June 26.
“Unfortunately, photos appeared on social networks from third-party sites that indicate the high cost of tickets. We officially declare that the cost of an economy class ticket for AZAL Istanbul-Baku Airlines is 374 manat. In addition, on these flights for Azerbaijani students studying abroad, AZAL provides a 30% discount on air tickets, ”the national air carrier said.
AZAL strongly recommends that passengers, when buying tickets, use the official website of the airline and not succumb to provocative and inaccurate information regarding the cost of tickets. In some cases, the cost of a business class ticket was intentionally presented as the price of an economy class ticket.
The airline reserves the right to apply to law enforcement agencies to investigate these provocative actions, the press release concluded. —06D-
