AZAL on Coronavirus Control Measures
Baku/03.03.20/Turan: Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, daily disinfects all civilian aviation facilities, the company said.
In particular, on the aircraft of AZAL and Buta Airways, after the flights are completed, they are treated with disinfectant liquids; all aircraft of these airlines are equipped with universal preventive kits, facemasks and disinfectants; on aircraft, HEPA air filters are periodically replaced; trainings are conducted with flight personnel in identifying a passenger with suspected coronavirus.
At the international airports of Azerbaijan: four times a day disinfection is carried out in the registration areas, toilets, rooms intended for passengers, as well as clothes and shoes of airport personnel; verification of all arriving passengers by measuring body temperature is provided; a quarantine area for the aircraft was allocated, on which a passenger with suspected coronavirus infection was identified.
There is a special room at the airport for the immediate isolation of passengers who have elevated body temperature; ambulances are constantly on duty at the Baku airport.
The Sky Catering Company, which supplies on-board meals, provides for the disinfection of reusable dishes and equipment carrying on-board meals.
All airlines flying to Heydar Aliyev International Airport are required to ensure that passengers fill out a health questionnaire. –06D-
