Bakı / 27.06.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani weightlifter Huseyn Ismayilov has been suspended from participation in all international competitions. This is stated in the official report of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).
The reason for this was the positive results on the doping test and the detection of traces of testosterone banned for the use by athletes in his body.
The final decision on disciplinary punishment will be taken after evidence of a violation or non-violation of anti-doping rules.
Until the question is fully clarified, the IWF will not comment it.
In 2017, Ismayilov won a bronze medal at the European Youth Championships. -06D-
