Baku/01.02.23/Turan: On February 1, the Khatai District Court of Baku did not satisfy the petition of the arrested activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev to replace the measure of restraint with house arrest. Turan was informed about this by human rights activist Rufat Safarov.
According to him, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev himself was also present at the court session. He once again stated that his arrest was a political order and unfounded.
The lawyers said they would appeal the decision of the Khatai court.-16D-
