BCHR Offers Assistance to Victims of Shelling by Armenians in Applying to ECHR
Baku / 18.10.20 / Turan: The Baku Club for Human Rights (BCHR) strongly condemned the Armenian Armed Forces' launching of missile strikes on the city of Ganja, which resulted in numerous facts of death and injury of civilians.
The BCHR believes that it is important to draw attention to the systematic attacks of the Armenian Armed Forces on the population and civil infrastructure of the cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, and the Agdam, Agjabedi, Barda, Goranboy, Tartar and other regions through legal mechanisms.
This is important from the point of view of restoring justice to the victims of attacks and their loved ones, as well as providing a legal assessment of the crimes committed against the civilian population.
In order to achieve these goals, the BCHR organizes free of charge assistance in bringing the complaints of the successors of the victims, as well as the wounded and persons who have lost property, to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
Citizens injured during armed attacks can contact by phone +994 51 706 74 47 (via phone calls and Whatsapp), e-mail humanrightsclub.az@gmail.com,or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BakuHumanRightsClub.
The BCHR was established by human rights activist Rasul Jafarov and lawyer Javad Javadov this spring. -0-
