Baku/31.07.19/Turan: The first group of pilgrims to Hajj will leave Azerbaijan for Mecca on August 2, the Service for the Organization of the Hajj of the Muslim Board of the Caucasus reported.
Every day two flights will deliver believers to Mecca during four days. The quota for the number of pilgrims for Azerbaijan completely filled, according to the same source.
This year the quota for Azerbaijan amounted to 1,400 people. The cost of the pilgrimage this year has increased by $75, reaching $4225.
Flights to Mecca will be carried out by 6 planes of the Azal state carrier. Completion of Hajj and Gurban Bayram this year will be celebrated on August 12-13. -02D-
