By May 9 veterans of World War II will receive cash benefits
Baku/20.04.18/Turan: On April 20, the head of Azerbaijan, IlhamAliyev, signed an order to pay veterans of the Second World War lump-sum material assistance on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory over fascism.According to the document, war participants will receive 1,000 manats (about $600).In addition, a one-time allowance of 500 manats (about $ 300) will be paid to widows who died during the war or who died later, to the workers of the home front, to workers of special formations, to holders of medals "For the Defense of Leningrad".For payments from the President's Reserve Fund, 5.9 million manat (about 3.4 million dollars) were allocated.May 9 is not a working day in Azerbaijan.Last year, 763 veterans of the war received benefits in the amount indicated, and 12,949 others.
