Case against the head physician of Shamkir hospital transferred to court
Baku/08.12.21/Turan: The case on the fact of abuse in the Shamkir central regional hospital for the purpose of prescribing a fake disability was transferred to the court. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, a preliminary investrigation in connection with the illegal actions of officials of the Shamkir Central District Hospital has completed.
The investigation established that the chief physician of the Shamkir central regional hospital, Ayaz Ibrahimov, abusing his official position and transferred all the powers of the medical advisory commission to the head of the hospital's therapeutic department, Fahraddin Guliyev.
The latter, with the participation of a therapist of the hospital Amina Zamanova, head of the first-aid post in the village of Garnyuy Dunya Garayeva, residents of the Shamkir region Kifayet Abdyeva and Habaiat Hasanova, having assigned fake disabilities to 8 persons, got 20,800 maats in bribes. According to the investigation, as a result of these illegal actions, pensions in the amount of 40,000 manat were paid.
Based on evidence collected by the investigation Guliyev and other persons involved in the case were charged under Articles 311.3.2 (repeated bribe-taking) and other Articles of the Criminal Code. In relation to Guliyev, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of arrest, the rest are under police supervision. The case was sent for consideration to the Ganja Grave Crimes Court. — 06D-
