Clients of another construction company faced fraud
Group of defrauded investors of construction company "Aleskeroglu K" held a press-conference on Wednesday at the International Press Center. According to human rights activist Alekper Mamedov, this construction company is headed by Kazymzade Kazim, brother of singer Aygun Kazimova.
In 2006, the company began construction of a house in the village of "Yeni Yasamal". Every customer paid 550 manat for each square meter. One customer, Chingiz Ismailzade paid full amount. However, he does not know how many customers are in this building, and how many floors must be in the building.
Foundation pit was dug, but the foundation has not been laid. The company owner Kazim Kazymzade said that the land on which the building is to be built, he was taken away from him.
According to the depositor, the company made similar swindle in Khatai district, where it was to build a 14-storey building with 194 apartments. However, the 280 apartments have been sold to customers.
The company collected from 300 to 650 manat in this house per a square meter.
After customers’ complaints of fraud, Kazymzade was arrested.
Then the firm was led by his cousin, Akbar Jafarov, who began to frighten investors. In this regard, the deceived investors intend to hold a picket on November 15 in front of the presidential administration, demanding to curb the swindlers and restore the rights of defrauded citizens. -05C04-
