Climbers are ready to buy a memorial plaque of dead climbers
Baku/23.07.21/Turan: A memorial plaque with names of three dead climbers on Mt. Tfan (4195 m) was stolen. This became known from publications in social networks of a colleague of the deceased athletes, Garib Tagizade.
It should be recalled that Namin Bunyatov, Farida Jabrailzadeh and Babur Huseynov were killed on December 23, 2018 due to the avalanche. Their bodies were found only in spring next year, after the snow melted.
Later on, friends of the victims installed a bronze plaque with names of the climbers at the site of their death.
Climbers ask everyone to inform if the board will be brought to a non-ferrous metals collection point. They are ready to buy it back and reinstall at the site. -03D-
