Baku / 01/15/19/ Turan: On the night of January 16-17, a cold snap is expected in the territory of Azerbaijan: a strong north wind with a speed of up to 35 meters per second and an air temperature drop of 10 degrees. This was reported to journalists by the head of the Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Environment Umaira Tagiyeva.
During this period, precipitation is expected in the form of snow, and in several places snowfall will be intense. On the night from 17 to 18 January, the country's roads will be covered with ice, she said.
