Baku/09.30.19/Turan: SOCAR (The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) issued an official report on the incident of September 27 between the security department of this structure and a group of people who call themselves invalids of the Karabakh war.
SOCAR employees revealed the fact of seizure of a land plot in the Binagadi district near the main oil pipeline and construction there.
Persons illegally conducting construction have been warned, and they stopped work. However, on September 28, construction work continued. Persons in this territory, calling themselves invalids of the Karabakh war, attacked SOCAR security officers and used force against them.
Representatives of the state oil company called the police. At the same time, three SOCAR employees were injured. After that, SOCAR and police officers were persecuted.
During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the Karabakh war invalids who arrived at the scene of the incident have nothing to do with the site.
According to SOCAR, the incident was initiated by the supporters of some Sharif Huseynov. However, who this person is and what he had to do with the site is not reported.
Law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation, the report said, but the Baku Central Police Department did not comment on this matter.
